PinoyDotA Online Battle Season 2 comes back with its premise to face amateur teams to the local top teams in the country. Top 6 amateur qualifying teams and 2 invited top teams which will compete for P20,000 prize pool sponsored & powered by Razer & E-Club.

Pinoy DotA Online Battle - Rules and Regulations
I. General Information
Game: Dota 2 (Steam Version)
Map Version: Tournament
Competition Method: 5 verus 5
Game Mode: Captain's Mode (CM)
Sides: Radiant or Dire will be based in the tournament bracket or coin toss
Starting Team: Dire (Dire gets the first Pick)
Server Location: Singapore
II. General Tournament Rules
A. Participants must be available for post-tournament award ceremonies and other tournament-related appointments.
B. Cheating and Abuses
The following game/map abuses are specifically prohibited:
Abusing game or map bugs/malfunctions/defects for the purpose of creating/achieving unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. Any form of cheats or abuses whether mentioned or not are still forbidden and could be scrutinized on a case-by-case basis. No exceptions.
B. THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE
The usage of any third-party addons, hooks, programs or wrappers that interact with or alter the Dota 2 client, its appearance or behavior for the purposes of acquiring an unfair advantage is prohibited. Tournament staffs/administrators are allowed and free to remove the players and teams who are caught using addons. No exceptions.
C. IMPERSONATING AN ELIGIBLE PLAYER
Impersonating an eligible player by attempting to act/play as them, using their Steam account or by any means is prohibited and will result for the entire team to be removed from the tournament and forfeit any prizes awarded by their position.
C. All participants must be present at the tournament lobby 15 minutes prior to their scheduled match. Game lobby passcodes are given to each team captain.
D. Participants are required to act in a reasonable, friendly and polite manner to tournament administrators and to other staffs of the event. They are expected to compete in a professional manner. The staffs has the right to disqualify and dismiss any registered player from the tournament, at their decision, for any form of violation, with no prior warning to the player.
E. Incomplete teams or the deficiency to observe the minimum number of players required 15 minutes before the scheduled match is considered as a forfeit or a game loss.
F. All participants must be available and active inside the Pinoy DotA Online Battle Lobby for them to easily communicate with the tournament staffs (Ex. For tournament queries and other concerns)
G. Team captains are required to join Pinoy DotA Online Battle Facebook Group for immediate information, changes or announcements regarding the tournament and they are entitled to direct the messages with their teammates.
H. Each match has a maximum 100-minute battle time interval.
I. Teams are allowed to change their line-ups ONCE and it must be 24 hours before their scheduled match.
III. Game Rules
a. The tournament administrators/ referees must be informed if any substitutions are to be performed.
b. Substitution can only be done before or after a match is done. Not DURING.
c. Teams are allowed to substitute ONCE only in the tournament.
d. The substituting player must be registered with the team respectively.
e. The substitute player must not be playing with any other parties in the tournament.
a. Any cheats, hacks, or abuses are illegal and not allowed in play.
If any player disconnects during a match, the game will be paused for 15mins from the time he has been disconnected. Pausing is not used for any other purposed.
D. Server Crash
The game can be continued from the latest save. The person who hosted the lobby for the match will have the option (game setup option) to load from a save file when they host again. The saved file is generated every minute in the background.
*If and only if the reload does not work, the game will be replayed with the same exact hero picks and lane movements until the first wave of the Radiant and Dire side meets.
IV. Punishments and Disputes
Anyone in the team are allowed and open to process an allegation relating to it.
* PLACING A DISPUTE
Team captains must propose disputes within twenty-four (24) hours of match completion.
To place a dispute, a team captain must submit a private message to a tournament administrator including all relevant information and evidence to support the allegation. Disputes with insufficient supporting information and/or evidence will be refused without an investigation being opened.
Once a dispute has been lodged and received by the administrators, disputes will be handled in a three stage process:
1. Assessment for credibility: The administrators will assess the proposed evidence and make a determination whether there is enough evidence presented to support an investigation into the dispute. If it is determined that there is sufficient evidence, then the dispute will move onto the next stage, otherwise the dispute will be closed and no further action will be taken. (Up to 12 hours)
2. Administrator Investigation: The administrators will investigate the proposed dispute and may request additional supporting evidenc. (Up to 24-48 hours)
3. Governing: Once the dispute has been scrutinized, administrators will deliberate and perform necessary ruling and makes it posted and available to the parties involved. (Up to 24 hours)
By registering and accepting invitations to this tournament, participants are making a commitment and agreement to attend, comply, and obey all scheduled contests/appointments/guidelines.
